The one who built it

Kencypher — Muhammad Waleed Amjad

Kencypher

Muhammad Waleed Amjad

I break things on purpose, then build the version that holds.

I keep infrastructure on its feet and build whatever is missing. High-availability VPNs, self-hosted everything, pipelines that never wake anyone at 3am, and a full ERP rollout on a factory floor while it was still running. Everything in this store exists because I wanted it, nobody would sell it to me on terms I liked, so I took the long way round and built it. Then I left the door open and put it all out for free.

Also known as Ken Cypher, kencypher56, hackingwithkencypher (Hacking with Kencypher) and Waleed Cypher — all the same person. The apps live at cypherstore.vercel.app; some people call it the Kencypher Store, but the name on the door is Cypher Store.

Experience

Where the infrastructure knowledge came from.

Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) — ERP

Unika Industries PVT LTD
June 2025 — Present
  • Helped implement the company-wide ERP, working between the factory floor and the development team to map how the plant actually works into the system.
  • Worked on implementing the Purchase, Sales, Chart of Accounts, Inventory and Production modules, along with each module’s reporting.
  • Handle the company’s day-to-day IT operations alongside the ERP rollout.

System Administrator (Remote)

Docdax PVT LTD
July 2024 — March 2026
  • Architected the secure VPN infrastructure — WireGuard, OpenVPN, Outline and Xray/V2Ray — including the load-balanced, failover-capable setup whose configuration is published on GitHub.
  • Deployed and maintained self-hosted Mattermost and Mailcow, with Python and Bash automation handling the monitoring.
  • Built the CI/CD pipelines on Drone CI, Gitea and Jenkins, and ran the Docker estate underneath them.
  • Rolled out Zabbix, Grafana and Wazuh EDR across the cloud VPS fleet.
  • Provisioned GPU instances for AI model workloads including Flux and Stable Diffusion.

Cyber Security Instructor

PNY Trainings
December 2023 — June 2025
  • Taught ethical hacking, penetration testing and defensive security.
  • Designed the lab environments students exploited and then had to defend.
  • Mentored students through CTF challenges and certification preparation.
