Cypher BOT
also known as Cypher Reddit Deep
Give it a thread and a voice. It does the talking, in somebody else you pick.
Cypher Store is the only true source for this app. Every official build of Cypher BOT comes from here. A copy from anywhere else — another site, a mirror, an APK forum — was not published by Kencypher, and nothing about what is inside it is guaranteed.
Windows may warn that the publisher is unrecognised, because the installer is not code-signed — choose More info, then Run anyway. On Linux, extract the archive and run the binary inside it. No installation and no root needed. Android blocks installs from outside the Play Store by default — when prompted, allow installs from your browser or file manager, then open the APK.
What Cypher BOT is
Paste a Reddit thread, pick a voice, and Cypher BOT reads the post and its comments aloud over a background and renders the whole thing as a finished video file. The speech engine and every character voice run on the device — no server, no API key, and the thread you are reading is not uploaded anywhere.
Cypher BOT features
What it actually does.
Thread to script
Paste a thread link and it pulls the post and its comments, telling you how many it found before you commit to a render.
Character voices
A library of built-in characters, each one auditionable with a play button before you use it.
One voice or a whole cast
One Voice narrates everything in the same voice. Mix All gives every comment a different character.
Backgrounds
Render over your own video clip. One is included so the first video needs nothing added, and on the desktop you can add more from the menu.
Real encoding controls
MP4 or MKV, H.264 or H.265, 24/30/60 fps and an adjustable bitrate — not a fixed preset.
On-device library
Every render is kept in the app with its file size, ready to play or share. On Windows and Linux the folder itself opens from the menu.

How to use Cypher BOT
From a fresh install to the thing working.
1 Make your first short
- Open the Studio tab and wait for "Engine ready on this device".
- Paste a Reddit thread link into the Reddit Post box and choose CHECK. It reports how many comments it found.
- Under Voice, choose One Voice and a character, or Mix All to give each comment its own voice. The first time you pick a character its voice is fetched, about 120 MB; the plain narrator needs no download.
- Choose a background clip. On Windows and Linux you can add your own from the Cypher BOT menu.
- Choose GENERATE VIDEO. The finished file appears in the Library tab.
2 Audition the voices
- Open the Voices tab.
- Choose PLAY on any character to hear a line rendered on the spot. A character you have not used before is fetched first.
- PREVIEW ALL plays through the whole cast in order.
3 Tune the output
- Open Settings.
- Set the container (MP4 or MKV), the codec (H.264 or H.265), the frame rate and the bitrate.
- Max characters per comment trims long comments. Roughly 200 characters is about 15 seconds of speech.

Made by Kencypher. Not open source.
Cypher BOT was written by Kencypher. The source is not published and is not licensed for reuse. You have permission to run it — that is the whole of it.
You may
- Run it on as many of your own machines as you like
- Use it for anything, including commercial work
- Pass an unmodified copy to a friend, free
You may not, without asking
- Sell it or charge for access
- Re-upload or mirror it anywhere
- Rebrand it or publish it as your own
- Decompile it or lift its assets
This is enforced. Re-uploading it, repackaging it, stripping the author's name off it or passing it off as your own is copyright infringement — protected without registration under the Berne Convention — and is pursued with DMCA takedowns to the host, CDN, app store and search engine, platform reports for impersonation, and legal proceedings where the infringement is commercial, repeated, or involves falsely claiming authorship.
Asking first is free, and the answer is usually yes — kencypher56@gmail.com. The only official source is this store; a copy from anywhere else is not one Kencypher published.
Good to know
- The Windows installer carries its own Python: nothing needs installing first — no Python, no FFmpeg, no Node.
- The Linux package carries everything except the interpreter, because the pieces the engine needs (onnxruntime, numpy, pyworld) are compiled per distribution and cannot be built on a Windows machine. Extract it, run install.sh once — it builds the engine in a folder beside the app and touches nothing else — then start it with ./cypherbot. python3 and python3-venv are the only prerequisites.
- Character voices are fetched the first time you pick one, about 120 MB each, and then kept. The narrator voice needs no download at all, so the first video can be made straight away.
- Voice conversion runs at roughly eight times real time on a mid-range phone; on a desktop it is faster, and the render itself is the slower half.
- Reading a thread needs a connection, and so does the first use of a character voice. Everything after that — the speech, the conversion and the encode — happens on your own machine.
- The Android build is 61 MB, not the 2.39 GB it used to be. Every character voice was packed inside the APK, which put it past the 2 GB limit on a release file and made it unpublishable; it fetches the voice you pick from the same pack the desktop build uses, so a fresh install still shows the whole roster and downloads only what you actually choose.
